Kalash valley tour is one of the top cultural retreats of Pakistan. Kalash valley tour provides an amazing cultural experience in the Hindukush mountain ranges among the ethnic minority community of Kalash. UNESCO listed Kalash culture as “Intangible Cultural Heritage” in November 2018. The decision was announced during the 13th session of UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Committee meeting organised in Mauritius.

Day 1: Arrival in Chitral
- Morning:
- Arrive in Chitral via flight or road. If flying, enjoy the breathtaking views of the Hindukush mountains.
- Check into your hotel/guesthouse.
- Afternoon:
- Visit Chitral Fort, an iconic landmark showcasing Chitral’s history.
- Explore Shahi Masjid, known for its unique architecture.
- Evening:
- Stroll through the local bazaar to experience local culture and shop for handicrafts.
- Overnight stay in Chitral.
Day 2: Kalash Valley (Bumburet)
- Morning:
- Depart for Kalash Valley, a 2-3 hour drive from Chitral.
- Explore Bumburet, the largest and most accessible of the Kalash Valleys.
- Afternoon:
- Visit Kalash Museum to learn about the unique culture of the Kalash people.
- Interact with locals and witness their traditional lifestyle.
- Evening:
- Enjoy a Kalash cultural performance (if available) and taste traditional Kalash food.
- Overnight stay in Bumburet.
Day 3: Kalash Valley (Rumbur & Birir)
- Morning:
- Visit Rumbur Valley, known for its untouched beauty and vibrant culture.
- Walk through the village and interact with the Kalash community.
- Afternoon:
- Head to Birir Valley, the smallest and least visited of the Kalash Valleys.
- Enjoy a picnic by the river or hike in the serene surroundings.
- Evening:
- Return to Chitral for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Garam Chashma
- Morning:
- Drive to Garam Chashma (Hot Springs), located 2 hours from Chitral.
- Relax in the natural hot water springs, known for their therapeutic properties.
- Afternoon:
- Explore the nearby Garum Chashma village and enjoy panoramic mountain views.
- Taste local trout fish for lunch.
- Evening:
- Return to Chitral for an overnight stay.
